Managing Director Andreas Wilfinger offers some insights into our research.
Andi, what’s so special about RINGANA research?
We encourage our researchers to think outside the box, and to create the best possible products. In doing so, there are no restrictions on their costing or their choice of raw materials. We want our customers to love our products, and that can only happen if we love them ourselves. Our sole aim is to create high-end products.

What research approaches is RINGANA currently taking in the area of skincare?
Our newly formulated FRESH overnight treatments are our response to many up-to-the-minute scientific findings in dermatological research. We pick up here on topics such as saccharification of the cells, or the fact that cells can mutually infect each other with regard to ageing. That has made it possible for us to pack several solutions into a single formulation.

Nonetheless, RINGANA also uses lots of classic ingredients such as vitamins or antioxidants as the basis of its products. How important are these ingredients?
They are at the heart of every RINGANA product. Because our unique skincare is freshly made, we can make use of very special ingredients as well as highly effective but sensitive antioxidants. These would spoil in conventional skincare creams that are stored for months on end. However, it is not only the substances themselves that are important, but the way in which they are combined and formulated. It’s a little like cooking: using the same ingredients, one can produce a very average dish or a culinary masterpiece, depending on how good the chef is. The freshness of the ingredients is the crowning glory of our wonderful products.
